Appliance Fixly

A noisy, leaking or half-working washing machine doesn’t always mean it’s time to buy new. In most cases the fault is a single worn part that a technician can replace the same day.

1. It won’t spin or drain

Usually a blocked pump filter, a worn belt or a faulty pump – all inexpensive to replace.

2. Water is leaking

Often a perished door seal or a loose hose connection rather than anything structural.

3. Loud banging on spin

Worn drum bearings or shock absorbers. Caught early, this is a straightforward repair.

4. It stops mid-cycle

Typically an error in the control board or a faulty heating element – easy to diagnose.

5. Clothes come out too wet

A spin or drainage fault, not a reason to replace the whole machine.

If you’re seeing any of these, book a diagnosis and get a fixed quote before deciding.
